R. J. Majors was born in Guthrie, Kentucky. Spending most his life in and out of the justice system. Roy learned how to compress his emotions through writing. In the beginning, like most urban youth Roy tried expressing himself through music. But, only after a few songs Roy find's that writing music in not fulfilling. While spending half a decade in Federal Prison, Roy learns a new way to express himself through writing. Forced to spend over eight months in the Federal Prison's (SHU) Special Housing Unit, Roy starts to compose a series of books about the life style's that he and his peer's experienced through out their teen year's.
