About the Author
Fabian Comrie was born in Mandeville, Jamaica. As a young boy, he was a member of the Manchester Parish library, where his aunt Clem worked. She instilled in him a keen interest in books and writing. In 1984, Fabian migrated to Miami, Florida, and attended Miami Dade Community College. After a year, he became a United States Army soldier and was assigned to the 8th Infantry Division in Germany. After four years of military service, Fabian went to paramedic, then nursing school at Miami Dade and Broward Community College. Currently he lives in California but travels the Caribbean, United States, and Europe extensively, collecting stories along the way.
