The Making of a Man

The Making of a Man

David Thrine has been exonerated. The Governor felt she had no choice. It was: succumb to his demands or partake in all-out war. The latter would have brought too much national attention. She didn't want that so she bowed down gracefully.Devastated by that, members of the Police Department turn their backs on her. It's the Gods vs the Police. That was the last slap they would take. Their livelihood was on the line. Too many lives have been lost. They needed retribution now. The black stripes on their shirts represents more than a remembrance of a fallen soldier. It represents the Governor's oppressive rule, and it was time for a change. As a free man, it was time for David to level up. His view of the world was evolving. While the game was the same, the rules have been altered. Each tweak sought to increase his chances of failure. That meant his freedom will come at a price. How could it not? Life has dealt him a horrible hand, not expecting him to make it out alive. He subliminally murdered his innocence and walked away from the crime scene. Now, will he excel under the bright lights, or will this stage become too much for him?The Making of a Man thrusts you into another volatile situation. The stacks have become much higher; the cost of the gamble that much dangerous. Under that mirage, the consequences of any act will either assist in the Making of a Man or the breaking of one.
