And of course…..YOUTUBE!! (Honestly, this is where most kids live)
Do you see my point? Most kids shows have turned into reality TV, videos on YouTube (especially game play), or just ridiculous cartoons with outrageous concepts. Still don’t agree? Okay let’s look at movies…
Movies
All Disney movies including recent (Luca, Raya and the Last Dragon, Frozen 2, Onward, Incredibles 2, Soul, and all live action remakes)
Pixar & Dreamworks including (Boss Baby, Croods, Trolls)
Peter Rabbit
Sing
Sonic the Hedgehog
Hotel Transylvania
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Space Jam 2
The Lego Movie (including Lego Batman)
Honestly folks, THAT’S IT!!! The sad truth is they haven’t made many kids movies and definetly not like they did in the 90s-2000s. Most movies are remakes, TV-show movies, or Disney-Pixar. Even Disney has slowed all the way down. It just isn’t a kid-friendly world anymore….I rest my case.
Alright folks I leave this open for discussion. Tell me your thoughts and if you agree or disagee, and why. Share some additional movies and TV shows with me as well. I want to know your favorites and what your kiddos are watching. It’s officially Fall folks so this list is perfect for snuggling up on those cold days too! I hope you enjoy!
