Back 2 Lifestyle Journey

Hey y’all welcome back to the digest! Thursday’s…..we wear pink. Hehe (movie reference, I’ll let you guess). On a serious note, Thursday is for exploring fashion past, present, and future. Over the past month we’ve been celebrating back to school and getting our kids fitted for the season. I’m proud to say I stayed within budget how about you family?

Well despite money flying out of our pockets I love shopping and styling my son. As I was getting him ready for his first day I thought back to my childhood first day outfits and how the trend I was rockin was inspired. Sooo…this week is all about fashion icons that inspired our style as kids. Take a look…

Well do you agree? Share your childhood fashion icon in the comments. As a tween it was Brittney Spears and Christina Aguilara for me. Freshman year I went through a hardcore punk rock phase with Avril Lavinge (no judgment zone remember). When I left that phase it was Jennifer Lopez, Aaliyah, Raven-Symone, then Rihanna going into my 20s. I’ve always had an eclectic fashion sense. Anybody else?

I hope you enjoyed looking back at fashion icons, don’t forget to share your favorites.

I have the recommendations below so don’t forget to check them out. Seize the day and...

A secret blend and region, a dark roast formulated to hold up with milk and steam for espressos, lattes, and mochas. This high brow blend of intense dark cocoa and dark brown sugar will certainly impress Lady Catherine de Bourgh of Rosings!
